Thinking about joining us?
All orchestral instruments are welcome at South Liverpool Orchestra, especially strings, brass and bassoon. We are a very friendly amateur chamber orchestra playing standard baroque, classical, romantic & 20th century repertoire, to include overtures, suites and symphonies.
We play something new each week, so it is a great way to experience regular unpressured sight-reading. There is also the opportunity to have a go at a concerto if you fancy it!
South Liverpool Orchestra perform two short concerts a year, and they are usually followed by a buffet. The concerts are typically in December and May.
If you would like to join, please drop us a message at info@south-liverpool-orchestra.co.uk with details about yourself, your musical interests and a contact email or telephone number and we’ll be in touch. Or, alternatively, you can reach us through our Facebook page – click on the link – South Liverpool Orchestra – which should take you straight to us!
